I have lived and worked in northern New England all my life. I graduated high school in Newburyport, Massachusetts. I earned my bachelor’s degree in comparative literature and elementary education at Clark University in Worcester, MA. Teaching school in New Hampshire provided me with many invaluable experiences.
I worked for six years as a veterinary assistant and became very comfortable with medical terminology. My certificate in medical transcription is expected in early 2011 through Penn Foster.
Caring for my pets and farm brings me daily happiness. I am a volunteer at Bangor Humane Society, Forgotten Felines, Australian Shepherd Rescue, and Avian Haven. I enjoy boating, birding, meditation and yoga as well as practicing reiki on both people and pets.
